  • I knote it's not refrigerated at any time. OR pasterurized / homogenized.

  • But anyway it is true that Yogurt and all kinds of cheese in Balkans (Especially in Bulgaria) are known as one of the best.

  • I am a Turk and i study in Bulgaria.I dont have anything againts Bulgaria or Bulgarians but Yogurt is originaly Turkish.Bulgarians and Turks lived together for 500 years under the control of Ottomans maybe thats why Many Bulgarians think yogurt is bulgarian..You may search it in english archives on Wikipedia which is an international free encyclopedia. It also explains where the word of "yogurt" comes from in Turkish language.

  • but the orinigal word is not yogurt, just west people call it that way. We call it different, and its not Turkish for sure, check again interent for Bacilikus bulgarikus.... japanese people did the resurches and prooved it, not Bulgarians.

  • Hi, Snaiperista! You should know, that Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia and everyone can write in. You can too. Unfortunately it means that you can't trust everything that is written there.

  • I know what kind of encyclopedia wikipedia is :) there they explained it nicely from the root of the word "yoğurt" that has a meaning connected with the production of yogurt, so that was an example i could give.i know you call it "kselo mlqko"

But somehow all the world use the Turkish word "yogurt"..No wonder why.Anyway it is not that important for me to discuss about ok.

  • @Snaiperista Or maybe when you came here you took it from the Bulgars... We, the Bulgarians produce milk and milk products since centuries... you came here 500 years ago and created the Yogurt ?? ... right....

  • @Snaiperista Yogurt is not turkish. The ingredient needed for Yogurt is called Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and its origins are from Bulgaria.
