Tribe Called Quest is one of my favorite groups of all time. The Album was released in the spring of 1990! And what I meant to when I said its better to be born in 79 was for fashion. I was still able to enjoy the music being born in 79 but I didn't have to care what I looked like in terms of fashion cuz I was too young to care!
