EU vindictus is same as Korean Vindictus EXTREME, But its at 5.5 Currently and on the 7th of December will go to 6 or (6.5) so depends what will happen there, But its up to the Koreans, Like in USA version (Premier) It is not the Original Game as you have noticed (Korea has both the original versions of both the games)

People need to realize that you can have all the skill in the world as a class, but the reason a class can solo raids like this is because of the fact they paid lots of NX to have overpowered weaponry. @DeathMiracle Depends on what you like, I prefer lann to all other melee classes due to his fast paced and consistent combat. Staying in the boss's face actually requires a lot more skill than all the other classes, but if you can get that down and practice enough on some raid bosses then you'll get the most out of lann. He may not be the top damage class right now, but he does happen to be the most fun.
I've played all four classes, but I can't say I'm exactly a master of any of them. I definitely love my Lann... he is a hybrid and can switch between sword or spear based on the situation. My Evie is definitely my best class by far, but I'm still no master. She has immense damage output and good dodging capability if you use her skills properly. Fiona is great in raids when she has a large shield with heavy stander, and Karok... haven't gotten far with him, so I can't say much.

That is something I can respect. I probably should have elaborated on what I meant by "solo raids like this" in saying, solo raids in such a short amount of time. I have guild mates who are in that same boat; they have the skill to solo with weapons and equipment enhanced to a lower degree, at the expense of the raid taking quite some time. People just need to realize that these 10-15 minute solo vids aren't possible without +15s.

Lann has the hardest time with his Electric charge, and I highly doubt a spear lann can dodge it in time when it is going 2x the speed.
gloves and pants are frostheart hunter, top and head are the ones you get at lvl 52 when you defeat rockjaw at hoarfrost depths, boots look like crafted from weeping queen but im not totally sure about that one.

@serpiccio From his head down, his armour is: Raider's Helm ,Raider's Jacket, Raven Gloves, Broken Ash Pants, Raven Boots. I'm assuming the pants are fused with something, or they could even be raider's pants. 3 piece Raider's + 2 Raven gives some awesome strength.

@qwertyabsurd My friend, I have a lv 67 Evie and a lv 70 Lann. I can assure you that skill level required to be more "efficient" is higher for Lann than for Evies. But there are some bosses for which Lanns are easy to solo with... I can't lie, i.e. Black Hammer.

@VindictusAppocalypse No class is easy :) thats my main point. What is a fact is that some classes are more noob friendly but at a certain point every1 has to know what their doing and no1 is dominating. Lanns dont need a way to deal more damage, you simply need to find the openings to do so. Simple and clean :)
Staff Evie is simply a low skill floor, low skill ceiling character, whereas Lanns of any type are high skill floor, high skill ceiling. That is why it takes so much effort for a Lann to be effective: because most average players have not reached that skill floor.
That said, Spear Lanns can be extremely effective once you've reached that high skill ceiling, and it's a joy to watch -- as Raidhunter continually demonstrates.
I play level 70 Evie and Lann, with Evie as my main... there is no skill in Amber, because you have a full three second timing window in which to activate, plus mana shield to fall back on. Sprint smash/slip dash/dodge roll have extremely slim timings which have to be executed directionally based on boss pattern memorization. Secondly, staff attack skills have anywhere from like 5x to 20x the range a Lann has, meaning they are rarely in the path of danger to begin with.
@jokersan4 Its the characters that seem the easiest that are in fact harder to play effectively because you think they're easy. I just lol when I see comments like yours about staff evie having low skill cap and lann having high skill cap. In order to be good with any character you need a high amount of skill that is the fact. What bosses are you talking about? Cuz in a solo situation one ends up in range of the boss quite easily regardless of being spear, staff, sword or whatever class you are.
@qwertyabsurd I have a 70 lann and 61 evie. I can solo Black Hammer hard with evie whereas I having lots of problem doing the same with lann. I've been using lann since OBT but only use evie after the revamp. Thus i would say what jokersan4 said is quite true.

@celine900916 u need to learn to slip dash. Theres a 10 minute video of a lann solo on here. Look it up and he takes no dmg from the boss. Theres a spear lann solo of black hammer.. in fact the same guy we're watching now. If ur having problems with lann and you've been using him since October of 2010 then obviously lann isnt your character. @jokersan4 my lann is the main one, and I can't seem to play evie very well after she reach high level. In raid I died as evie more than my lann. so I decide to switch my staff evie to a scythe one, and find it easier to survive. mana amber is very hard to control without the right timing when the boss hit, and if luck come, I will got toss far away from the boss. It all in the player. Since you play evie as your main, you will find her easier to survive. or I just suck in my evie.

guys cmom, i play staff evie since her very first day when she was a healer mostly, never switched to scythe like many others did, some patches may make your class stronger or weaker compared to other classes, its every mmo truth. @4thFold i'd have to guess maelstrom and adjusted ES on the spear, since both of them are rank 9 and they add up to 37 atk spd of a +15 Braid spears.
and do the math of whats the odd of a +15 equitment could success, +4 and +5 is about 75%,+6 - +8 is about 50%, +9- +10 is about 40%, and +11- +15 is about 30%, and if u have legit knowledge about math, its 75%*75%*50%*50%*50%*40%*40%*30%...success rate is about 0.001%, and then count in 2 rank 9 scroll, take a guess how much spear he need to destory to get that +15 with 2 rank 9 scroll.
@qdgundam Thats enhancing percentage is if you can get them all successful with no fails, if you use enhancement runes it gives you some leverage up to +10
@qdgundam you know, he might have been hella rich in real life and used enhance runes which is pretty much like skipping to +10 so you might want to skip the first half of your calculations, the chances are tiny bit better

@qwertyabsurd My friend, I have a lv 67 Evie and a lv 70 Lann. I can assure you that skill level required to be more "efficient" is higher for Lann than for Evies. But there are some bosses for which Lanns are easy to solo with... I can't lie, i.e. Black Hammer.

What is a fact is that some classes are more noob friendly but at a certain point every1 has to know what their doing and no1 is dominating. Lanns dont need a way to deal more damage, you simply need to find the openings to do so. Simple and clean :)

Staff Evie is simply a low skill floor, low skill ceiling character, whereas Lanns of any type are high skill floor, high skill ceiling. That is why it takes so much effort for a Lann to be effective: because most average players have not reached that skill floor.
That said, Spear Lanns can be extremely effective once you've reached that high skill ceiling, and it's a joy to watch -- as Raidhunter continually demonstrates.

I play level 70 Evie and Lann, with Evie as my main... there is no skill in Amber, because you have a full three second timing window in which to activate, plus mana shield to fall back on. Sprint smash/slip dash/dodge roll have extremely slim timings which have to be executed directionally based on boss pattern memorization. Secondly, staff attack skills have anywhere from like 5x to 20x the range a Lann has, meaning they are rarely in the path of danger to begin with.

@jokersan4 Its the characters that seem the easiest that are in fact harder to play effectively because you think they're easy. I just lol when I see comments like yours about staff evie having low skill cap and lann having high skill cap. In order to be good with any character you need a high amount of skill that is the fact. What bosses are you talking about? Cuz in a solo situation one ends up in range of the boss quite easily regardless of being spear, staff, sword or whatever class you are.

@qwertyabsurd I have a 70 lann and 61 evie. I can solo Black Hammer hard with evie whereas I having lots of problem doing the same with lann. I've been using lann since OBT but only use evie after the revamp. Thus i would say what jokersan4 said is quite true.

@celine900916 u need to learn to slip dash. Theres a 10 minute video of a lann solo on here. Look it up and he takes no dmg from the boss. Theres a spear lann solo of black hammer.. in fact the same guy we're watching now. If ur having problems with lann and you've been using him since October of 2010 then obviously lann isnt your character. People are gonna say what they want tho, so Im nit even gonna argue abt it anymore lol. Was feeling lazy so my bad if this comment isnt as eloquent :-P

@jokersan4 my lann is the main one, and I can't seem to play evie very well after she reach high level. In raid I died as evie more than my lann. so I decide to switch my staff evie to a scythe one, and find it easier to survive. mana amber is very hard to control without the right timing when the boss hit, and if luck come, I will got toss far away from the boss. It all in the player. Since you play evie as your main, you will find her easier to survive. or I just suck in my evie.

Just because I quit it doesnt change what the game is(Repetitive and unrewarding dungeons) The only new thing that appeared since I quit was Kalok and Im actually back for him This vid proves that what spear lann has is enough in the right hands

guys cmom, i play staff evie since her very first day when she was a healer mostly, never switched to scythe like many others did, some patches may make your class stronger or weaker compared to other classes, its every mmo truth. and do the math of whats the odd of a +15 equitment could success, +4 and +5 is about 75%,+6 - +8 is about 50%, +9- +10 is about 40%, and +11- +15 is about 30%, and if u have legit knowledge about math, its 75%*75%*50%*50%*50%*40%*40%*30%...success rate is about 0.001%, and then count in 2 rank 9 scroll, take a guess how much spear he need to destory to get that +15 with 2 rank 9 scroll.
