Actually a Norwegian group called Multiclyde originally sung this song, JTL bought the rights off it and made their version later....

The Multicyde 2001 version is based on a famous Norwegian folksong called " Vårsøg ". The original version from 1977 is Norwegian and is based on a Norwegian poem from the 1940's.

The Multicyde verssion is produced by the Norwegian recordproducers " StarGate " who is currently having alot of sucess in the US, producing songs for such artists as Rihanna, Beyonce Knowles, Lionel Richie etc.

Both of them released it in 2001. JTL released theirs in December, unsure of multicyde though.

I do have to say though, a comparison between the two, I do enjoy JTL's version more. The female vocals seems to fit better.
