Yes this was called Midhouse, now called Saorsa (Gaelic for Freedom). The house has changed hands a further twice since we lived there. Benji the cat is still there, although the new owners have called him Simon! Great views and happy memories.

wow that's amazing-I moved from Fort William to this house when I was about 8 i think, with Benji! So glad to hear he is still well! We moved to New Zealand in 2000 (i think) and I gave him to a friend but he promptly returned to his rightful house of his own will , and looks like he hasn't moved since! He must be quite old now, I think I got him when I was about 5 or 6 which would make him about 15 now!

Tell me are you still in NZ? My sister lived at Saorsa but I did see Benji/Simon just before we left Orkney in August and came to Hamilton NZ! Small world.
