@SuperThunderBolt2 In this case Ginga is sort of an acronym of 'gin'(silver(obviously)) and 'ga' which is another way to write fang in japanese. Depending on the kanji, ga can mean river too.
In my opinion it doesn't sound 8-bit I'd go as far and say it sound like a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game. But it's not bad at all. I say it sounds great!
There is actually a game on the Famicom where some of the characters from Ginga Nagareboshi Gin makes an appearance.
If you look at the cover of the game there are tons of characters that has been in the Shonen Jump magazine, and in the back you can see Akakabuto. I think the name of the game was Famicom Jump! Eiyuu Retsuden.
Of course with today's gaming technology, I can only imagine that if they made a game of this anime, they'd use most of the same songs from the soundtrack and it would rock.
miksi piilottelet suurinta osaa videoistasi?
Saatana!!! Poista channelisi ja tunke sormi perseeseen!!!
A Wild Akakabuto appears
It uses scratch
it's not very effective
Gin used Battouga
It's super effective
The Wild Akakabuto fainted

Cool! This 8-bit version sounds like it's from an old NES game! That'd be something else if there was a game based on this series.
