its not really worth overclocking, i got the same card but and mine runs all games well. by over clocking you might make your cards life a lot shorter.

It depends.For cod2, wow, age2 or any low(old) game you don't need.But in cod4 the difference is more than just eye seeing.

Can i clock it higher? If i can, do i have to change the fan speed or something? :D

Download Ati tool, set your fan to 50%, set core to higher(about 750) memory, 1050, shader to 1650 and test if it runs ok.Look for good temperatures.If they're to high, try to set the fan to more RPMs.

It won't be funny when you'll burn you GPU.Raise it for 10 or 15 mhz until you hit 700(just a suggestion).

Download Rivatuner, and you can sure set Core to 700, rams to 1000, shader to 1650.But raise it slowly, not at once.

I'm not saying that it's better than gts, because it's not.From XFX, don't know.This one has dualslot cooler, 700/2000 at 33% fan with 50°C.

Get GT it's about 20% faster than gts and it can be overclocked more than GTS.

Before i bought the GT, a was having BFGtech 8800GTS 320MB and i can ashore you, those 192MB means a huge diffrence :)

Sorry man. No offense, aight? I'll just go through some basic graphics card lectures with you all.

The 8800GT 512 is faster than the 8800GTS 320 and 640. Not everything is about the memory size. Actually, you won't need more than 512mb for any current game.

The thing is, that the 8800GT is based on the newer G92 core, where the older 8800GTS are based on the G80 core.

However, the newer 8800GTS 512 is faster than the 8800GT 512, because it too is based on the G92 core.

I'm running it at 50% for 24/7.Under 60% is silent.

When it's set above you can hear it pretty much.

In comparison with nvidia 1-slot cooler the noise is like: nvidia cooler 50%=75% gainward cooler.

I tested both 1slot and 2slot, and because of the fan i decided to buy this one.

Take in opinion just that crysis is using only 2 cores so i can tell you just c2d@ more than 3.0 and GT with some overclock MUST BE 1024@2XAA veryhigh or 1280x1024 veryhigh :)

q6600&8800GT oc=11560points;

q6600@3.0 & 8800GT@800/2000/2060=13680 points;

Sure it's good for crysis, indeed it is the best thing.
