  • This seems way too binary. Gender is not that constraining, even for awkward teenagers. A lot of people hang out in the middle and this gentlemen just seems to be reinforcing seemingly obvious gender stereotypes. Gender is a spectrum and some portion of everyone's gender identity is manifested by societal pressures. I haven't read his book, maybe he has more to say then men are "more logical" and women are irrationally dramatic.

  • if i was a girl i would meet him but sadly I wasnt born into the gender that modern christianity lovesthe most and gives the most attention to screw us guys we dont get a tour we arent as important to jesus which is one huge reason im thinking about leaving christianity all i heard about was stuff i could go to because i was a guy I thought equality matters but girls have more books more conferences more events and crap my church is filled with girls no guys and no one cares

    Hey man.....I know exactly what you mean. I also wondered why it seemed as if there are no conferences for young Christian men. It doesn't seem right, but it is certainly not a reason to leave Christianity all together. I know that you may feel excluded or not cared about by "modern Christianity", but that doesn't make it okay to turn your back on the One who matters most. An alternative would be to start one yourself. I'm sure there are thousands of young men who feel the....

    .....same way as you. Start a petition. I'll definitely be honored to help you. There WILL be a conference for young Christian men.
