  • Does Traktor Pro wok for the VCi 100 or not?

  • @ThunderPiglit

    yeah, it does

  • すげえ yabai

  • i have a question

can you control 4 decks with the vci100 ?

  • yup

  • this unit looks godly

ordered one but the factory is back ordered on them

they seem to be pretty popular

  • how do you add a microphone to Traktor using VCI-100? Also what do i require to get these two to my pa system?

  • does it work with serato???

  • Yes, though I recommend using this with Traktor.

  • does it work on virtual dj

  • Yes, though I recommend using this with Traktor.

  • Comment removed

  • Only thing im missing is a gain nob

  • does this vci-100 work whit numark dj i/o?

  • Yes.

  • It doesn't work "with" it. The VCI-100 is just a MIDI-controller, so no sound goes through/from it. The DJ i/O is basically used to allow you to cue the incoming music.

  • How can I use headphones with it?!

  • you need an audio interface too seperate the chanels as the vci 100 doesn't have one built in, this is not a problem though as you can choose your quality. Then just map any button too cue. When doing plug and play with traktor LE provided with the vci 100 the cue button acts as cue. pm if your confused.

  • read comments!

  • I think you need an extra sound card for it

but I think your question was already answererd, because you asked 2 months ago ^^

  • you need a aux

  • If side A is playing, how can you listen to side B, when there is no headphone socket?

  • You need to get an audio interface to allow multiple audio outs.

  • Hey! i got my answer! i watched your other video. thanx

  • can u do a video showing the ports(if there are any) on the vci-100 and how u connect it to the macbook. Also the headphones; do u plug it in the vci-100 or the computer. Do u need any extra hardware such as soundcard or whatever to connect the device and make it work? That would be very helpful. thanx

  • a lot of money for only a midi controller whitout sound in/out. bcd3000 is the same whit a high quallity sound device 2in 2out

  • Bullshit ... the bcd is a toy

  • Yes it is...

But for a PRO midi controller i prefer M-Audio Xponent.

  • OH GOD WHICH ONE!

  • VCI-300 are the best...

  • xmenssucksballs is criticising every video on the vestax VCI-100

dude relax if this helps it helps if it doesnt then thats not our problem. who gives a shit bout lighting i didnt notice any probz .

  • Get over yourself. I like the vci-100. This demo could have been better if the camera man knew what he was doing. If you read my comment on the other videos I was criticizing the horrible DJ not the product

  • you see, in this video the guy can actually mix without skipping a beat. Do you see this guy scratching out of key? I don't. The mexican in the other video didn't have a clue.

  • Who ever directed this video is pretty good and should consider doing independent films. As for the camera man . . . he or she would appear to be a novice. The lighting on the background was far to bright. The purpose of this demo was to focus on the components and not the glorious slipmat and gorgeous-lighting fixture in the background.

  • stereo multi soundcard? where do I get one? Will it go on my computer, or the VCI? is this expensive to mod if I wanted to plug in my headphones?

  • Good review: Product facts: Quality build and components.

No sound card, this device is just a midi controller, works with Traktor LE, virtual DJ, and any DJ sofware that has midi. You will need an additional stereo multi channel soundcard with this device to cue mix.

I have used it personally and it is real nice. The best demo that I saw was by DJ Cracker at the Namm show in January. He was ripping it up turntablist style using this device, a proper DJ soundcard and traktor LE.

  • Mine arrived today and ive had nothin but grief with it. Shame as i was really excited before i got it. :-(

  • What kind of grief? What system are you running? PC or Mac? Are you just trying to mix, scratch, or a little of both? Please let me know. Maybe I can help...

  • I feel ya man, I did the same thing, I was so happy about this vci and the day I got it, I was not happy.tryed it also with other programs and they all sucked with the vci-100 so I took it back and bought a new mixer and head phones plus I bought serato off of my friend for only $200

which he only ued it 2 times. he sold it to me because he had bought CDJ's and had no use of serato.

  • Cming Soon...stay tuned

  • @VestaxJapan thumbs up for Vestax VCI-400!!!

  • heeey whens part two coming out

  • those are both original songs that I wrote and produced. GoldenSol "JC Superstar" and Ean Golden "GoldenTheme"

  • What is those two songs or beats he used in this video anyone kanyone know?

  • I only have one question about this product: Is it possible to listen to one platter while the other is playing without the crowd hearing youa re listening to the other track??

  • You wouldn't be able to without a soundcard... the VCI-100 doesn't have a headphone port. It's really sort of just a midi controller however a very well built one with a perfect layout for programs such as Traktor. If you have a dedicated soundcard you would need to monitor with it. The VCI just gives you control over software exclusively.

  • Thanks for the reply. The records Hiroshi Watanabe recorded under the Kaito name are some of my favorites of the last few years. I'd love to catch him DJ someday although living in USA, it may be tough. In any event, I'll be looking forward to the in-store demo. Thanks Vestax!

  • Thanks Vestax for posting. I've been looking all over the place for the Hiroshi Watanabe Apple store appearance from Japan last month. I'm sure someone had to tape it. He is one of my favorite artists and I'd love to see his demo of the VCI. It very well may get me to buy!!

  • Dear Tom,

Thank you for your comment. We hope to supply you with many more highlights from our proDJS.

We will post shortly any footage we may have on Hiroshi as well.

    All the best, Vestax.
