  • Yes I feel it was worth it. And I put it down to the following points:

    1) The sound has changed - much more deeper and 'Meaty'

    2) The torque has increased a little - but just enough to slid you backwards on the seat.

    3) Knowing you 'Have It' is just assuring - you don't than 'wonder' yourself silly all the time

    4) During the installation I was able to exchange a faulty bearing liner, which I otherwise would not have seen.

    5) It's added a little face value to the resell of the bike.

  • Serious question with no disrespect intended. Was it worth the effort and money to increase the capacity by 100ccs? If so, in what way(s). Cheers

  • Any feedback on how it effected gas mileage?

To be honest, I didn't keep track of the consumption before the kit was fitted! Also I had the kit fitted with only 1'000 km on the clock - so I was basically running her!

I keep a track of my fuel records at Fuelly dot com. If you are interested have a look here:

    w w w (dot) fuelly (dot) com/driver/birdy68/thunderbird

    Hope that helps!
