With all the different ads that represent parts of Adventureland, topping it off with this one, they should extend it all and turn it into a video game or something g if it was given a plot! :). Plus, I love the song!

They should have done the beginning and end kitchen scenes in black and white, since when the cat first "crosses over", it reminded me of "The Wizard of Oz", when Dorothy first sees the land of Oz, and everything goes from b&w to brilliant colour.

Why not just render the cat in CG? I would think that would be easier and less expensive than using a real cat since you are already making a 3D world. What's one more element?

@malcommerriweather Because it's supposed to appeal to cat owners, and CG cats don't cut it.

@tfa8rva I doubt even the most astute cat owner would even know the difference. CG can give subtle lifelike detail and offer more creative freedom. I'm a cat lover myself and I wouldn't mind as long as they got the mannerisms right.

Pretty exceptional, indeed. This is one of the best animated commercials ever!!!!! It's so over the top fantastic, that I stop what I am doing to WATCH this commercial. It's so perfect in every which way. You can tell people love this commercial, they are starting to do remixes. That a HUGE compliment on YOUTUBE!
