Wow, "Chinese Gods"! They used to play this on Kung Fu Theatre about once a year! Being a kid and not knowing what the term psychedelic meant, I always equated this movie with The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine".

This is a cartoon called "The Chinese Gods" the animation isn't great, but if you like watching crazy stuff you have to watch it. It's like a Hanna Barbera superhero cartoon on acid and with some gore in it. Definitely not for the kiddies.

@bellaragazzo The reason for the poor quality is that the distribution company probably used VHS for the transfer source. I'm just happy it's available on DVD.

'Fist of the Northstar' IS the Bruce Lee cartoon series. There's also the animation of Streetfighter for Fei loong character who was clearly Bruce. THis is a very rare unique post U got up here, thanx!

Actually this is a 1975 Hong Kong film called, "The Story Of Chinese Gods" where one of the God's (Bruce) descends from heaven to fight an evil ruler. Pretty cheesy but classic.

I know that it has been released on DVD. Go to ebay and type in Chinese gods bruce lee and it will come up. Check any well stocked anime store that has a big DVD selection and they may have it. Or you can get it the way I did and go through video stores that are trashing their VHS videos and you can pick it up for a $1! Many stores in Chinatown will quite likely have a bootleg of it.
