Annother example how the American Unculture has gone out of its way to erase European history & Western Culture from the minds of its youth. They highjack the term "Gothic" and turn it into some kind of kitchi, spooky moovie crap . . . .
The real Goths were a powerful and graceful people who left a permanent stamp on Western History. Thay gave the world its great cathedrals and so many modern ideas. Too bad nobody cares for real history in America.
If you enjoy E.A Poe, you'll probably love H. P. Lovecraft. Lovecraft is modern as opposed to Victorian-Era, but his writings are as dismal, imaginative, and spooky as ever.

Any suggestions for poets or horror authors from the 18th or 19th centuries that are similar to poe?
Name of poets, authors and book titles would be great.
