Citizenship is not a right, it is a privilege. A right cannot be taken, but a privilege can be taken and surrendered. Transient aliens, alien public ministers and consuls, are under embassy/consular jurisdiction. Children of transient aliens, of alien public ministers and consuls, are under embassy/consular jurisdiction, and therefore are not entitled to enjoy the privilege of US citizenship.
@PresBarack, Citizenship not granted is not removed. Congress can control how US citizenship is granted.
Congress, in passing the 14th Amendment, created a blanket law removing from States the power to grant citizenship. States should pass citizenship laws to be in effect if Congress repeals the 14th. California already has laws in the Government Codes near sections 241 and 270.

@s3cks3 Liberal Paul Krugman said death panels are real, and a government employee will decide whether grandma or grandpa gets surgery or gets to take a pill.
Another issue is the fact that FDR and EIsenhower never honored the anchor baby citizenship when dealing with illegal immigration in the 30's and 50's.

Amendment 14 - was illegally Ratified 1868.
In violation of the constitution, it did not have a 3/4 majority.
Only 7 of 15 states.
It was signed by the vice president.
Only the president can sign an amendment.
The 14 th is illegal, the rules are simple and in the constitution.

"subject to the jurisdiction thereof" are citizens.
"Within the jurisdiction" is everyone else.
Citizenship has requirements
1.Renounce all allegiance to any foreign, state, or sovereignty.
2.Support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
3.bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law.
author of the citizenship clause, Sen. Jacob Howard (MI)
wanted to exclude aliens, diplomats.
The final version does not read that way.

@drharris2020 Actually it was just children of diplomats and that's exactly what the amendment says. Also refer to Wong Kim V. United States.
