You may be right that the US were the biggest contributors to the financial crash but for the past 13 years Brown has not been a Tax & Spend Chancelor - he has been a TAX & BORROW man. The difference is he was so sure of his infalability that he failed to acknowledge economic cycles - so when the crash came he had left us with absolutely NOTHING in the coffers, & even now the present government has  to borrow 1 pound in every 4 which is spent just to keep the country on an even keel!

I don't claim to live in Nirvana but I do know we in the US have never experienced a mass exodus of our citizens to Che's utopia i.e. Cuba. The same cannot be said for Cuba and it's citizens. The US Coast Guard intercepted 1,921 people fleeing Cuba last year.
