But what I don't agree with is when preachers point out other preachers problems and flaws and bad mouth them. God tells us not to judge one another, as God is the only judge. @eirwal777 His disciples were all Jewish, actually all the first believes (e.g. the Church in Jerusalem in Acts) were Jewish, really read the scriptures (Pauls letter is even called Hebrews), just read it beloved of God. But what I don't agree with is when preachers point out other preachers problems and flaws and bad mouth them. God tells us not to judge one another, as God is the only judge. I've learned over the years, that we need to pray for one another, no matter how wrong we may think the person is, or how they act, we have to pray and give it to God and let God be in control of the situation.

The 70 weeks of years in Dan 9, was a period of 490 years for the jews to get their act together and recognize their Messiah. The 70th week is the last 7 years. 3 1/2 years (Christ's ministry) 3 1/2 years for the early church. they were to preach to the lost sheep of Israel as Jesus commanded. after Stephen was stoned in 34 A.D. The gospel went out to the Gentiles and the nation of Israel was rejected.

It's not that Jesus "didn't come to be the messiah", it's that he didn't come to be what the Jews THOUGHT the messiah would be. They wanted a military and political leader that would take up arms against Rome. So when Hagee says that, he's referring to what the Jews expectations of a messiah was, not denying that Jesus is the REAL messiah.

The Bible specifically states that there are many antichrists, it does this many times, and it even specifically states what an antichrist is. This excerpt for the Ad 'In Defense of Israel' was taken completely out of context by people whoapparently have not even listened to enough of John Hagee's sermons over the last few decades to realize that he does indeed teach that Jesus Christ came the first time to Israel as the suffering Messiah; he will come again the second time as the Triumphant Messiah. Paul talked about Christians fighting and devouring one another.

I left a mainstream Baptist church (and have never returned to any of them) because of "Israel worship". I am sorry, but my salvation doesn't depend upon the worship of the land of Israel. I don't hate Jews and realize Jesus was a Jew but again my salvation doesn't depend on my support of Israel.

I've seen Pastor Anderson attack Hagee, Joel Osteen, Kirk Cameron, and even Billy Graham. It reminds me of Mark 9:38, the disciples try to stop a man from casting demons out in Jesus name because he's not part of their group. These evangelist aren't "with him" and he slams them for their real/imagined offenses. And yet they are pointing people to Jesus, countless souls will enter the heaven because of their work.
