Sounds like a good idea...I'm out in the country though and was only using a .22 (with hollow points though, that's a must) so it's not a problem with the police or neighbors.
I love the "Spirited" narration heh but we dont have a problem with nutrias in California apparentley they were eradicated a while back... and if you were having a problem with rodents of that size... i'd say get a good quality single hand crossbow with a laser sight, quiet, humane, powerful, and accurate and unlike a gun... cops wont think youre a gangbanger if theyre within half a mile when that rodents time is up
you people obviously have never met up with nutria. you can't simply build a fence and keep them out. they will go under, through, or however they feel like doing to get to the other side.

Um, retards, humans do more damage to the environment, the ecosystem and the world than the nutria do. And humans are not native to north america either.
Put up a fence if he keeps getting into your stuff.
What do you mean he's not an animal lover? If you love NATIVE animals, ones that the nutria eat/chase away, the ones that live in wetlands that nutria destroy, you have to kill nutria. Nutria are not vegetarians, and are not harmless. You can see the wetland damage they cause from space.
In our area, nutria are a considered a pest invasive species. They are not native to North America. Visit nutria dot com and click on the Wetlands Damage page to view some statistics and pictures of the extensive damage they can do to sensitive wetland ecosystems in a short period of time.
Also, this wasn't the first visit for this particular nutria. If I had simply chased him off, he would have certainly returned later...to simply be chased off again. Surely the Greater Nutria Community would not have wanted the life of a vagabond for one of their own. ;-)
Hey, no problem... I was just leaning on ya a bit!
Personally, I'm a sentimentalist who pities the cute critters in a way, but I'm also well aware of the pest they can be and the unbalancing effect on the ecology. They're certainly not an endangered species.
Well, maybe the death of their dear relative will send a signal to the others to stay away! :)
Look at a couple of my other videos to see me eating nutria. It is quite tasty. They are entitled Nutria Steak and Nutria Steak II for your viewing pleasure!
Your da bomb. Its about time people stood up for their apples. Your vivid PLAY by PLAY description had me on my toes. I have no more fingernails left. You were a wee bit on the sissy side upon retreating but you came back in the end. I salute thee- Nutria warrior. Beware the 'possums though, they are a bit meaner.(cool video dude).
It was like 3:00 in the morning! What was I supposed to do, let him ransack our family apple supply and make a mess on the porch? Yes, I have much better things to do, but alas, alack, this noot wouldn't leave us alone, thus the discretionary and decisive course of action was quickly, uh, executed.
nice re-inactment. i really enjoyed it.

Can I buy some drugs from you? I live in WI and we don't have any "real" nutria to chase and I wanna have an adventure.

and that ideology is why california sucks. This man here took the texan approach. Cheaper, manlier, and more effective.

I live in Texas, we're not all stupid rednecks who like to kill innocent creatures.
VeganMuffin 4 years ago
nothing about this says redneck. He killed a pest. BTW, the nutria wasnt innocent. It was tearing up his stuff. I woulda shot it too.
rwilliams89 4 years ago
Everything says redneck about it, if there's a problem, grab a gun, instead of use logic and put a fence up to keep them out.
Humans are the pests tearing down rainforests and destroying the planet and everything on it.
Well, I hope if you're ever in that situation that it blows up in your face and you get hurt. No offense :)

Oh okay then, what do you do for a living? Do you understand how black holes work? How about how aerodynamic resistance in air?
gromann 3 years ago
What does that have to do with the current conversation? Nothing. You couldn't even back up your lame insult.

Well if youre going to insult my intelligence, come now, prove your the greater

Yes.

Well, I guess you're not much of an animal lover, then... But that's alright.
If you want a real contest, why don't you spend a vacation in Egypt and hunt crocodiles? My uncle did that once, he found it quite exciting.

Egypt sounds exciting, but I guess I'll leave the croc hunting to your uncle and my cousin, Tom.
