When I render the clip, it is a lot shorter and faster than the originial, but the fps is 25..so how do I fix this?

@sameersi95 Yes, that's how the layering works. You combine multiple layers of images and videos (and effects in EffectsLab or VisionLab).

Effects lab doesn't have keying abilities. You need Composite Lab or Vision Lab to do that.

So, a garbage matte is basically a "create-your-own" greenscreen?

Heh, I suppose you could look at it that way, yes. It can be used to manually cut people out, or to fix problems if your greenscreen isn't perfect.

just want to make a note, it doesn't work with jpeg images, i get that stupid director player nonsense every time, invalid paramiter blah blah blah, it's prevented me to keying in still objects into my shots now.

JPEGs are fine, but it could be that the resolution is too high. Please head over to the FXhome website if you'd like some more help.

Well, it depends what you need. The 'best' video product is VisionLab Studio, as it includes everything, but it also has a higher price. So you need to work out what you want, then see which product fits your needs and budget.
