Respect to the max!!!
Fan de funk, de hip hop et de Jazz, je suis un grand grand grand fan de compas! Vivement la relève!!!

No this isn't the last Freres Dejean album and they did not become System band after. They split the band after recording this album and they guys to the right of the rip formed System and Les Dejean released many great albums after.
@choumyco Correction! When they made this album, System Band had at least two albums under their belts. This was a reunion album. Hence the "Sans Rancune" title. Translated, it meant "no hard feelings". The System Band guys had defected in the US after the "L'universe" album.
@vuzik4u_That's sounds probable however that's not what Fred Dejean, my uncle, told me. I wouldn't have corrected the first guys unless I was sure of my facts.
@choumyco With all due respect to your uncle Fred. I'd already bought a couple of System Band albums prior to the release of the " Sans Rancune " album, which came out around 1984-85. I should know, since I woreout my needle playing it. BTW! Barring maybe one, I can safely say that I have every Freres Dejean album released on CD. I guess you can call me a hard core fan. This will be my last response on this matter, as it is fruitless to argue on a public forum.

@vuzik4u No Harm done. I apreciate and respect your logic. As fans, let's just enjoy this dying genre of music. BTW, I enjoyed this public discussion of classic cpmpa that we are clearly passionate and informed about. I was also being bias abot the whole thing. Well done my friend. Andy Dejean.

It never got better than this. Even though, System Band came close throughout the 90's.
