At first, theyr shrieking as they realize the cars aren't all empty. If u listn closer u can tell theyr laughing just as much about their own predicament: that the lady has survived just as they had. In the background they seem to b checking on others in their group. A girl is pleading with a guy to get down to help - while shrieking, laughing, n calling out to the lady not to try to swim - it's clearly concern n wonder at the strange predicament theyr sharing with the lady on top of her car.

Good for those who are not affected with the tragedy. Im from manila but i wasnt there when typhoon "ondoy" strikes Luzon. Im in cebu right now but i cant help but pity those victims of the tragedy. Ang lungkot at sakit isipin. Maybe its not too late to realize for us to do such moves to protect our nature.

guys, it's not fair to judge and say nasty things about the people shooting this video. they were not laughing because of what's happening--they were obviously panicking, and often people react that way as a coping mechanism. if they were only laughing because they were enjoying what was going on, then that's a different story. they were obviously concerned. wag naman tayong padalos-dalos kung magbitiw ng salita. iba't iba ang reactions ng mga tao kapag nalalagay sila sa panganib.

I hope you're right nathan, but if youll listen carefully, the guy who's shooting this vid kept on saying "huag kang tawa ng tawa" and you can also clearly hear giggling throughout the video. How you would misinterpret that to being concerned, I have no idea. Obviously, some of these guys were not showing true concern towards those who were down there in the flood struggling to get out of harm's way.

@ unwrthy: i'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt than judge them so easily. like i said, we all have different ways of coping with stress. there may be laughing in the background but there's also concern in their voices. when i got bitten by a dog a long time ago, instead of crying & panicking, my first reaction was to laugh hysterically; it was only after 15 mins from the time i got bitten that i started crying. familyvideo123 gave a great explanation of this.
