hi there and thank you very much for taking the time to post, i really learned something.

very well presented.

i have a question,

Please tell me why does mySDJj1 still hold files when i have deleted them from the sd card?

I previously loaded a card with mp3 tracks as a try out, then i deleted the tracks on the card and started over.

my card is empty yet the player shows files available.

Does the SDJ1 have a memory, storing previously played or uploaded files, if so can i disable it?

@swindass Glad you like the video. That is strange with your SDJ. Try reformatting the card this may solve the problem

i have the first generation sdj1, which does not except sdhc cards. These are very hard to find. not even ebay has them. any1 know i get 4gb sdcard (non hc)? Thanks

my sdj-1's preset menu has "track skip" ..gives me option of 10,20,50,100 not covered in owners manuel do you have an idea ? called American audio still waiting to hear from them

@TheBrutiss Just worked it out. in the preset menu you choose what number of tracks you want to skip (10,20...). Then when searching through tracks if you press in the track dial while turning it to get to your track it will skip the number or tracks you selected in the menu. Useful if you have 50 tracks in a folder. Hope this helps
