禎子の死後、級友たちの呼びかけで After Sadako's death, by classmates' appeal 原爆の犠牲になった子供たちの像を作るための 募金活動が始り The fund-raising campaign started, in order to make the statue of the children who fell victim to an atomic bomb 昭和33年、像が完成 The statue was completed in 1958 希望を捨てず、鶴を折ることで 逆境と闘い続けた禎子の姿は The figure of Sadako who continued fighting with adverse Circumstances, by folding paper cranes without throwing away hope 世界中で共感を呼んだ Sympathy was called all over the world
