I think that it might be the Vergeltungswaffe-2-A, the V-2 rocket that Soviet rocket scientist Sergey Korolev adapted to perform better. Of course, the designers may just have made something up.

What was said about sizes of rockets is true. If you get a massive score in A type then you will get the big ass one that you get in B type for finishing on level 9, high 5.

.. there's this one from 100-150k

then there is another (150-200k), looks to me like a delta IV (but it isn't a delta IV, this is an american rocket)

and one from 200k up, i think it's a sojuz

and the shuttle is a buran on energija, and you get if for finishing level 9 high 5 in the b mode

wrong. you only get the shuttle after beating GAME B mode. There's a dude here who has the maximum score (all 9s) and he got the same cutscene as above.

wrong. this rocket you see here is the 100k points rocket. the fat one u get 4 beating mode B. And there is another small, but black rocket for beating mode A with 200000 points.

The size of the rocket changes the higher your score is.
