u never find out if the panthers won the game without smash at the end.. does anyone know if they did? aside from all the other dramas going on, that is a huge part of the episode which we never even find out.. even on the next episode u dont find out. they just brush past it like the game never happened.. i guess they lost

@nessie4215 Season two was bad enough before it got cut short for the Writer's Strike. Most of the Storylines just died or faded away because they were not very good. So in the FNL world, we call it "The Season that never happened" because Seasons 1, 3, 4 and 5 were incredible and 2 was so unlike the others that I actually can't bring myself to believe that it did happen.

@Xocheerkrazii143 Unlike most shows, FNL went out on top. Now I would have liked another season to see Vince off, but they were right in not going on too long. I just can't wait until i start watching it all over again from episode 1.

Such an amazing show. season 2 was not the best (especially the beginning, the only episodes I really like in the 2nd season are the last 2) but overall one of the best shows I have ever seen. I am so sad that it's ending.

This show is just filled with inspiration. I'm up to Season 3, but this show, really, it's the best thing ever. The script is so breathtaking and the show itself, is Real. Shame that not too many people watch it, it's not ALL about football.

I love this quote!! It is so beautiful, the words, the way Coach delivers it, the music in the background. Everything about it is perfect and it was such a great ending to the pilot. It gives me chills every time I hear it!

Julie gets slapped in "Are You Ready For Friday Night?" Episode 3, Season 2. Because she broke curfew and told Tami to "go to hell", and it was the icing on the cake for a stressed, post-natal depressed Tami who snapped.
