Because on Thunder Lightning Strike there is a lot of instramentals. Infact, she wasnt really on their first album, so when it cam to performing live she just killed it, wrecked the stage and freestyled. When you see them live, she also tries to get the audience involved by making new chants. She awesome!

I remember seeing an interview with them where she says she improvises some of the lyrics. I don't think it's out of not caring or not being professional, but more about keeping that fresh, urgent, spur of the moment feeling their music has.

I believe the studio version was made with samples of chants and no singer was in it. I'm guessing they did this because they couldn't just play a recording back live.

No, they actually did say the chanting, its just that Ninja is completely vox and won't use the actually lyrics and shes a 'free talker' so while preforming live, she usually changed the lyrics from show to show just cause she felt like it. So each show itself is actually unique.

Probably because the original chant was a sample of Black Panthers saying "Revolution has come, time to pick up the gun...off pigs!" and Ninja is too much of a politically correct wuss to sing that live. Who knows? Fredderrr may be right but I suspect the lyrical content has something to do with it too. And it's soccer not football! :)
