the whole deal with AoE dealing damage to your allies makes the game a whole lot more realistic...that's where WoW failed imo

@dasmanmetto You could say it kills everything even your party members because of the friendly fire. Almost all good spells are massive and do friendly fire.

its more like wow where you chose where to send you people to attack and they do it. put its very different to its much more in depth. You also have the ability to chose the events in the strory and build you own person if you didnt know

have you played knights of the old republic? its like a larger scale version of that, the interface is sort of like wow but the game focuses more on tactics then going in and killing things, if you liked oblivion for the sole reason of freely killing stuff, this isn't for you, but i recommend renting in before you buy

@beefymcmanst1c i don't think this game is anything like WoW or oblivion, it's most of a RTS/RPG kind of game instead of a one man army game. As well this game blows my mind every time i play it you should really get it if you like RPG at all

i think the problem with the magick is that most of them are area of effect spells and so hit not only your enemys but also your party members and friendly npc´s

mages don't need staves or wands for magic. they're the most badass because you can do the whackiest shit with magic and not a sharpened piece of steel

Yes, from what I've heard in another trailer, you have to cast your spells carefully. Such as example the Grease + Fireball combo
