After 20 years i really dont know if i prefere this or the original one..both are epic..Kai is more aggressive, but also Kiske makes the rule very well and sounds perfect..I'll continue to enjoy the music..

Kai's version is wonderful, this song isn't for Kiske, i prefer the aggressive an dark voice of Kai. Kai could have a beautiful voice, but Kai put in this song feelings that i don't feel with Kiske, especially in the central part

The slow part is better in Kai's version, the raspy voice gives it the dark tone that the part has.

Kiske is maybe the best singer in helloween, but Helloween EP/Walls of Jericho is simply not meant for him.

@Ryoxp I think the issue is not just Kiske's singing (which lacks the emotional intensity of Kai's performance; this is a song where feeling counts more than pure singing virtuosity), but the whole way the song is played and performs strips away the layer of filth and grime that made the original so great. The original Helloween EP was gritty, dark, and METAL in a way that the Kiske and Deris eras could never approach.

I happen to disagree with these comments, I much pefer this version. I think Kiske sings the slow part halfway in more stylish than Kai. BURN IN HELL! BURN IN HELL! And the ending has a nice new riff that I can break my neck too while driving
