I spent fucking DAYS trying to get that part off. I finally pulled out the Grinder and chopped it off. It cost $280 to replace. My BRAIN is ready to Blow a gasket.

i always used the screws from those crappy factory intake tubing hose clamps, they are good in a pinch if you dont wanna go to the hardware store.

i also replace the cam seals and cylinder head temp sensor everytime i replace the timing belt on the z31 300zx's, just save head aches down the road. especially on 84 and 85's cause they tend to develope that cold start loop that makes them hard to start when cold.
