My dad is a special effects make-up artist He was with the company when they made the original Predator suit. What had happened was the studio was going to hire Kevin Peter Hall, but they felt having Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jean-Claude Van Damme would make the film more profitable. According to my dad, Van Damme whined a lot during production of the suit and what not able to do any stunts he promised the studio. So using some of the designs the original company made, they hired Stan Winston.

The vid here shows the EARLY Predator design costume that Van Damme used. They later changed this costume and got rid of Van Damme. All this information is on Wikipedia or a million other sites if you actually bother to read.

Gracias a dios Van-Damme nunca hizo a Predator, aunque fue considerado para este papel siempre se quejo de que el traje acalobara mucho y debido a sus quejas y mala conducta fue reemplazado por Kevin Peter Hall para hacer el papel de Predator. Aun Jean Claude si probo el traje nunca lo uso para grabar escenas de la pelicula. Una vez mas este actor pedante queda chico literalmente para los papeles que le pongan.
