I think that Dr. West has good intentions regarding advocating forward progress in this country. But I also think that some of his expectations & criticisms of Obama have been unrealistic. We all know that voter turnout in the 2010 elections was low for some odd reason, which gave Obama a congress to work with that is led by the opposite party. And when there is divided government like this, it tend to impede progress & any agenda that a president wants to set. For example, Obama proposed a jobs

In order to see a leftward agenda get enacted in America, not only does Obama need to be re-elected, but voters should give him a Dem-majority in Congress to work with instead of the same Republicans who want to block everything. Furthermore, the country's woes weren't created overnight, so they won't be solved overnight. People must be more patient.

@DontRepYourCity--This simply isn't true. I, too, was an Obama supporter, but I've come to see his administration in all of its duplicitous glory. What he SAYS and what he DOES are not congruent. In 2008, Obama had democratic majorities in the House and Senate. The political theatre that ensued over healthcare reform was just that, theater, and he paid the price in 2010, and rightfully so. He doesn't need to be re-elected. He had his chance and he blew it miserably.

The market hit a low of 6600 Mar 09 from a high of 14144 and has since bounced back to 12900. I love Dr. West & Respect him greatly. What I don't fully understand is how he could not smell the fraud during the campaign. As he said Obama got loads of cash from Wall street. So why is he surprised that he has turned on the people? I guess I'm a bit confused that such a brilliant man could be so naive. Yes, Obama received money and support from everyday folks, but MOST of that cash came from Wall street. Should be no surprises.
