I am glad you shared this. I am going to favorite it. This message really needs to get out to our young transguys....I am talking about just starting or wanting to start transitioning as young. It is always hard in the beginning, but if you are happy the family will see that and come around.

This was so sweet and loving, so happy you have a nana like that Charles. My gram is good with it also she shocked me since she was never really friendly with GLBT and when I told her I was scared to tell her because of comments she made she said well that is silly your my grandkid and that makes it different. She actually is most excepting and proud so its awesome. Cheers

thanks so much for this charles, i just had an awkward thanksgiving. its been two years and i made a suggestion and if was as if i was asking them to acknowledge me as a hippogriff. its freaking hard for a family. parents, grandparents, siblings but when extended family with healthy understandings insist they are trying and you haven't heard a thing from them its bs.

but thank you nana, i'm gonna have keep strong for a little bit longer.
