Good Review Rebecca. Nicely done and very objective. However, you mention at one point that the Porsche 911 3.2 is mid engined. I always thought that the 911 is rear engined. Other than that, a very good review
Great review Rebecca. I recently bought a '87 3.2 Coupe (across the pond) in Canada. I find these older 911s to be a lot more forgiving than their reputations imply.
I also own a 2002 996TT and a '93 968 CS - both have telepathic handling. The Turbo in particular has almost no limits. So I was expecting the 3.2 to be a handful in the corners.
But it's very planted. I think lift-throttle oversteer really only happens at 10/10ths driving (track). Or by hard braking mid corner...
@thejacobyarbrough That black car is a French convertible!! Do you like it lol? Probably not if you searched for Porsche's and found this video haha.
Rebecca: Very good review...and i agree... this car is a stunning machine, astonishing sound, rear wheel drive, low center of gravity, pendelum effect and powerfull engine air cooled engine...
@roleta301116 Thank you very much! It really is a stunning machine and the classic shape is a real head turner. I would love now to take one round a track!
Thank you for this road test drive and your comments about your feeling pushing up such a gorgeous 911 3.2 targa though it's not a mid engine but you corrected it in the end ;-)
Just a question as I'm looking to buy such a 911 3.2 coupe how did you manage to find a full history car I reckon it is not an easy task isn't it?
Is the rear spoiler an option? Doesn't the car have a small one that normally rises up with the speed?
@twinh you are right it is not easy to find a car with fsh although Porsche owners are usually quite fussy about where they take their cars. It may take you some time but keep looking until the right one comes up!
Yes it's funny what you say on camera and not even realise you have said it!
According to the Porsche club I just quizzed it was the 964 from 1989 onwards that had that spoiler fitted that rises with speed.
Where are you based? Have you found your coupe yet?
@MrPourekkis Yes you are correct! See my written introduction above which I guess you haven't read!!

Terrific review ! You're an amasing woman and a great testdriver. I hope you will do more videos and also have a look at my reviews of the Porsche 997. I'd love to get your feedback. Greetings from germany !
