This game is so fucking dumb.. LOL I really love how Camaros, BMWs, etc, shit even Veyrons & Zondas, can run low 5's in the 1320.' That's only about a half second quicker than an average Top Fuel dragster run; I doubt those cars in the game have anything close to 8000hp & 6500lb/ft, and weigh only 2300lbs.. Just trying to keep traction under that kind of acceleration on street tires is impossible by itself! LMAO Silly 'realistic' game! Scratch that, I mean 'simulator.' Aahahaha

Ok My career completion is bout 20% and I just unlocked the next showdown you get from React and I need a drag car. I tuned the Chevy Cobalt you get from the begining and on 1/4 mile drags it's time is about 12 - 13 secs so I'm always last but in order to continue my career i have to dominate but i don't know which car to buy to tune to the limit so i can actually stay in shape. Last year i bought a tier 2 or 3 dunno car tuned it to the max for nothing same result. So i need advice please :(

go for american muscle, if you can't afford upgrades...

give the eclipse a try, it is a beast at drag and even later in the game it hauls ass.

never go for the supra... never, it might have the most horse power and everything fully maxed out but it is uncontrollable and I have flipped it completely over from just a wheelie.

@boon222222 your supra wheelied from a fail setup. with the right body the front tires never leave the ground. if your supra flips from coming down then make the front suspension softer to soak it up. dont bash a car till you know how to use it.

@Sharksterr Well the problem is that you should never pick a front-wheel drived car for drag racing. I once tuned a Civic for fun with everything maxed out and so I've managed to only do a 10.13 on the 1/4 mile. For drag racing you just need a car that is rear-wheel drived, simple as that. Even a car that has 150bhp stock can do 6's. My 240sx with only 521bhp has gone 6.93 on the quarter mile and my S15 Silvia with 555bhp has done a 6.73 on the quarter mile. Get an RWD car, and dominate ;)

im stumped! i have a supra for drag. I set myself on gear 2 before a race, and when the light is green, i accelerate and press nos at the same time. then when i reach the peak, i change to 6th gear like him, execept i go REALLY slow. what am i doing wrong?
