This is the first time anyone has mentioned the pain,i had the pain and OMG was bad,i couldnt bare it,i was pregnant when i had bells and wasnt allowed to take anything,7 years later i get the odd pain and still cant hear well out of the side i had the pain on x
I'm having these pains too, specially around my 7th cranial, cheek and jaw. Not sure why they happen but I guess they're to be expected. Hope they clear up for you soon.
@voiceofdoofus Thank you so so much for letting me know that! Really! I didn't know if it was common or not. It's nice to know that they're to be expected because I was beginning to worry. In fact, I told my neurologist about the pains today, thinking that they may mean that something worse is happening. I guess it's just part of this whole process. How are you? Notice any improvements yet?
@voiceofdoofus Don't say that yet because I've seen a lot of people's videos that have no improvement, like US, for over 2 weeks then they get movement! Once you get movement, I think it starts coming back pretty quickly. Let's hope for a speedy recovery and both stay positive.
Have you done acupuncture?

I'm impressed that you were able to put on such good makeup with bell's palsy... I tried the other day and it was an epic fail.
And I hate this shooting pain... I have it today really bad. :(

@smilingldh I don't know if they're common but they're not unknown I don't think.
I'm noticing no improvements yet I'm sad to say. I've started to accept the fact I may be one of the long cases. Woe!

@smilingldh You make a fair point there and I agree on on the positive thinking.
