Actually, Kurt was a christian he taught francis how to pray and he used to live with a guy who went to church alot and would often join and he even got baptized. The guy he lived with had children kurts age and let kurt borrow an old amp because he was in a band an he would play it all day upstairs.

I know he commonly made more than one song of lyrics he previously made to be only one song, and at other times during performances used lyrics that were never even found in albums or anywhere. I thought I saw a video somewhere that he said a lot of the times he didn't even know what he was singing(during live shows).
