I'm reading it right now. Hard to put the book down....compelling, especially the relationship to predatory corporate incursions as causal here.
I do have one complaint: why the use of the word "narcotics" to describe substances that are not opiates or their synthetic derivatives? A bit Anslinger- speak.
I'd be curious as to what people like Dr Gene Schoenfeld & Dr David Smith,both Haight- Ashbury Era,seasoned street
medicine/clinic experts,have to say about this, & possible solutions.
this book is a bunch of bullshit. the dates and all the data about "roland" is wrong

I'm reading it right now too. Very well written. I was addicted to that stuff for 16 years. 8 years clean now. Yay!
