if you looked at 0:03 you can see him fall, 0:08 - 0:16 he fired 10 shots ( to the ground) then the cop reloaded and said "drop the gun" if he was still alive , why didn't he subdue him? the cop on the left killed him and the one on the right covered it up but, that's what happens when you shot at cops

You don't seem to be able to pay attention to details. It's two different cameras. The first part is from the front cop car. That cut is just them going to video from the second car, since the suspect moved out of frame from the first one. It was done by the news cast so you can see everything that happened.
clearly you believe that people have the ability to vanish in plain site. Yes there are obviously two cameras but the suspect is still in the first cameras line of vision when the camera is stopped. (i doubt the tape ran out at that pivotal moment) As a matter of fact, he is dead center in the cameras POV when it switches over.
If i had to guess the camera stopped just before he turned his back to the cops and went back to his vehicle. There was no need to run up on the car. He should have been surrounded contained and had a negotiator/translate have him surrender. Not run up to the window and blast away. Also, how does something being done by a newscast insinuate that you see everything that happens?
If you see or hear the entire video, the suspect still had the gun and was still aimed at the officer in the back of the car. Hence the 8 shots at the end.

This video does not show the beginning of the police shootout. The susepct was drunk, high, and an illegal alien. The officers were called on a 1 car accident where the drunk suspect ran his car into a tree in a residental neighborhood. The suspect fled the scene and when cops arrive he turns and tried to blow them away. I think the people should be informed before being allowed to judge this situation. I know.. but the guy was already hit and on the ground before the cop on the right fired 8+ shots.. and from the angle on the dash cam theres no way to determine whether or not the criminal was still a threat..
but i really dont give a shit about the guy.. he deserved what he got.. it was just an observation....

Call me stupid but it appears a good portion of this video is cut out. YOu see my man firing at the cops and then he is in his car getting riddled by bullets. Why cut out the events in between unless that fat shit cop was just shooting first and asking questions later.

@COLLEGEBRODOTCOM but if you do see the full portion instead of it being cut u will see him continuing to fire at the officer. And there was no negotiating. As soon as the cop pulled up and got out of the car, he shot at him. find and watch the full portion of the shootout.

You don't seem to be able to pay attention to details. It's two different cameras. The first part is from the front cop car. That cut is just them going to video from the second car, since the suspect moved out of frame from the first one. It was done by the news cast so you can see everything that happened.

clearly you believe that people have the ability to vanish in plain site. Yes there are obviously two cameras but the suspect is still in the first cameras line of vision when the camera is stopped. (i doubt the tape ran out at that pivotal moment) As a matter of fact, he is dead center in the cameras POV when it switches over.

If i had to guess the camera stopped just before he turned his back to the cops and went back to his vehicle. There was no need to run up on the car. He should have been surrounded contained and had a negotiator/translate have him surrender. Not run up to the window and blast away. Also, how does something being done by a newscast insinuate that you see everything that happens?

If you see or hear the entire video, the suspect still had the gun and was still aimed at the officer in the back of the car. Hence the 8 shots at the end.

You could point the gun 20 different ways and the gun would still be aimed at his fat ass. Obviously the guy is an idiot and now someone is dead because of it. He's lucky himself to be alive.

@COLLEGEBRODOTCOM Take it from someone in law enforcement: You have no clue what you are talking about. First off, the cut/camera change was done by the news station. Other stations have cut it differently. Second, the larger officer was probably out from cover before the perp pulled the gun. Once the guy perp started shooting, deadly force policy comes into effect. Maybe you should go back to watching movies if you think a negotiator is coming for something like this.

take cover behind the car, wait for backup, if the guy approaches you firing shots then shoot back. If he gets in his car then follow him. dont run up on him in his vehicle and start shooting .

This video does not show the beginning of the police shootout. The susepct was drunk, high, and an illegal alien. The officers were called on a 1 car accident where the drunk suspect ran his car into a tree in a residental neighborhood. The suspect fled the scene and when cops arrive he turns and tried to blow them away. I think the people should be informed before being allowed to judge this situation.
