Moon Selector. You get it in the village that Lilith is in from an NPC if you're difficulty is set to Hard or higher. All you do is press select during battle and it changes to the next character. I think it can carry over to the next playthrough if you buy the option in the Grade Shop.

Damn, you're pretty good ^^ the first time I beated this boss I was at lvl 20 (because I started this game while I was playing ToD 1, and often I played beating enemies [the battle system is awesome :D] until I finished ToD 1) but the difficult was setting on normal xD if you're playing at Unknown, it's very awesome.

And you've cheer me up with that announcement about the script translation in gameFAQs xD
