It's easier, in the part when you have to get into the elevated vent , to fire one portal across from the Aperture Science Vital Apparatus Vent and fire the other somewhere accessible to the Rocket Sentry. Go into it's room and stand in front of the portal In there, it should fire a rocket that will burst open the Aperture Science Vital Apparatus Vent, releasing an Aperture Science Weighted Storage Cube, on which you can hop into the elevated vent.

this game is weird what happens after you get out? was it supposed to kill you? was their really a party!? i wanted to go to that party i thought you really had to lay on the ground lol

@fladoodel you lie on the ground, barely alive, and some male british-sounding robotic voice says "Thank you for assuming the party escort submission position" and drags you back in. The voice and the dragging weren't added until a few months ago to raise awareness for Portal 2.

You can use the rocket to blow up the cube tube and get a cube- that way you don't have to stack a bunch of objects to get into the vent.

oh ic...ur on the 360...that can make it much more difficult...with a mouse and keyboard it is much easier to make fluid precise movements...that's why i always play FPS's on PC...but yeah that would be awesome if you could get those advanced chambers up...some of those are pretty difficult ^^

Preferances. With mouse, for me, my movements are choppy, and the walking directions are limited. I prefer consoles.

yeah, it mostly depends on your gaming rig. unless you are willing to spend much more to play a game ll on a PC, then it will usually be very choppy for FPS's.

my comp can barely even run most newer games...but i still prefer the mouse/keyboard over my Xbox controller

meh, its helpful if u are stuck, but you need to work on ur portal placement a bit. Try and get all those on ur first try ;D
