Use a guitar pick, older style toothbrush or any inexpensive piece of celluloid (surprisingly difficult to find now) instead of a candle. The celluloid burns slow, hot, and is harder to extinguish. It worked well for me on the front of a super soaker filled with gasoline

I just did it this way! It works! But the Hairspray ya I had a bad experience with that!

thats not the way....u need a lighter and hairspray its better but more dangerous

@skaterdork111 There are lots of ways. I chose not to use hairspray becuause I was looking for a less well known way.
