I had problems with stomach pain when deadlifting and squating..so i found this video and started doing this kind of situps .. all i can say is that i got a lot stronger and don't feel that terrible paine anymore.. you can try it for yourself. and i am not as strong as the guy doing it in the video. I am doing this with 45-55 kilos at most. awesome video and tnx for sharing

You need to have the weights above your shoulders to get the fully weight.
I guess it will we hard to attach the weights without actually strangling yourself.
But just saying, that was like halfway to the shoulders so it only was about half the weight. And if there is anyone doubting this theory: Same thing with a excavator, you can lift over 10 times more weight if youre close to the machine, then if you were using fully extended arm ;)
not trying to be a douche but use less weight and hold it behind your head... you will work your core better. Simple physics.. can't cheat it that way either by unintentionally rolling the weight forwards.
@goofy775 There comes a point when a person won't be able to physically hold a barbell like that behind their head. The dude can obviously do that with more than a 100 lb plate, which would be a pain in the ass to hold like you are describing. I don't think it'd be possible to really challenge him with a weight that can be held behind the head.
@TirumphantAce lol man I can't even remember watching this video.. but i'll still hold to what I say.. weight in front of you makes the exercise almost useless(being a little drastic). Yeah chances are he can't hold that behind his head but he could do another exercise and save himself some time.
