Hey renzzo666, nice work, you've got it almost spot on! Ace IS the greatest rock guitarist ever... all you other guys using this as a chance to argue about Ace, Kulick and Thayer - give renzzo666 a break... he was looking for comments on HIS performance you numbskulls! ... But for the record, Ace created all those sounds for Thayer to rip off, and Kulick is great in his own right (listen to his solo stuff and his work with Union for example). Keep rockin' renzzo666!!!

Man, I'm a great KISS fan, and also of Ace, but you know, Kulik gave KISS a new sound in the middle of 80s, Tommy Thayer is a very good player, but he's just playin' Ace's stuff... I agree, he's good, ut not the most talented guitarist KISS has ever had, anyway, I respect your opinion... n_n

Why do so many people idolize Ace Frehley? I'm not being a jerk, I really am just curious why so many people look up to Ace in particular.

Well, for me, Ace was the guitarist who inspired me to pick a guitar and start rockin' my whole life.

Ace Frehley, has a particular guitar style. Maybe, he's not a great technical guitarist, an example: if you listen the solo on the song "Calling Dr. Love", the solo sounds fresh, sounds powerfull.

Ace also was very underestimated, he has the real rock n roll old school style, so, for that and many other reasons, Ace Frehley is my idol.
