Wow, I've loved these cars since I saw one sixteen years ago. I was just old enough to drive then, but there was no way I was getting it. I've never seen one shine like yours does and I saw where you explained how you did it. That really looks good. I like the wheels too. I think it's ok to diverse some, but I'd always keep the originals in the garage just in case. I also saw that you've kicked up the HP, good call. I always thought they would have sold more w/more power.

You know, I'm always amazed by the number of people who own a DMC-12, who'll park it right alongside another car worth ten times that amount (vintage, classic sports car, exotic, etc). I mean, the DMC was produced in numbers approaching 10,000... yet it has a place right next to the ultra-rare, ultra-expensive, sub-thousand-produced supercars!

I blame it on its looks. 30 years later, it's still a dead-sexy car and definitely holds a certain mystique. :)

Wow! nice DeLorean My dad has owned his since 82' when he bought it. I think that the only modifications he made were the Cadillac Northstar V8, and the stage II exaust system from DMC. But other than that its completely original with only 8,025 miles on it.

- Delorean was my first car and now I drive a Subaru WRX, and since then I have become a lover of modification and performance tuning, doing all the work myself on my Subie. My dream is to again own a Delorean and Tune it to perfection, and your Delorean good sir is quite possibly the "Best" example I have ever seen of a Delorean modded in good taste!! Its Beautiful! All it needs now are sparco's, harnesses, and a Momo Wheel lol. Amazing Job Dude!!

This was a long process using 3M pads and polishing compound/rouge. It was done using a device called a cyclo, with a similar process as used for polishing aluminum on airplanes.
