  • Do you have some kind of upgraded lens on the camera? I was looking at these online and do not see one with a lens like this.

  • Yup it's a wide-angle lens adaptor.

  • do they got any interal memory?

  • lol lol "sony, im sorry sanyo..."

  • thank you , i will try

  • hi , i have sanyo xacti c4 , but i didnt have the software so i can see my videos , can you sende the program to my address please or tell me what is the program i need? thank you .

  • Look for VLC on Google.

  • does it have nightlight like sony?

  • ive got a TG-1 (pal) and used it to record a mates gig (on tripod most of the time) and even tho it was very dark, with lots of flashing lights & excessive sound, the TG-1 stayed true, i had use it many times b4 but never under such du-ress, a single battery i recorded for just over a 100min (constant recorded except for pulling out 1 8gb for anther 8gb in the break)

IN SHORT - SONY TG-1 has Sanyo beat on this one

ps - ive droped the sucka 3 times, its a tuff lil beauty!

  • what?? You are doing a review while on speed boat HUH? You are lucky that it didn't fall to bottom of sea:)

  • how much is this in usa

  • Very slow still photo response has made this camera not so good for us. No headphone output. No analog input. Nice form factor.

  • Hi what camera did you use to record this video, please let me know?

  • I used the Sony HC1 to film this.

  • whic h is better hd2 or the hd700

  • sony or sanyo this guys always make mistakes

  • Please leave the guy alone, hes brave to make the review about the Sanyo HD2... his English is NOT his 1st language, so give the man a chance.!

I think the review is good.! 5 stars.!

  • I can put 1 hour on Youtube if I want.

  • That sounded kind of, I don't know...

  • alaikum salam

  • salam....peace

i buy this for my parents... my mom especially love it. its light ..easy ...my mom love it.

  • iS that a Sanyo HD2 in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

    zing.

  • Im curious as to how sturdy it is? Do you think it will stand the test of time?

    Jack

  • I think so, just as any other camera most probably.

  • how much?

  • Is it possible to shoot footage with the HD1000 and upload it directly to YouTube without reformatting it?

  • I have one of these cameras and yes you can upload it directly but it has to be a very small video or it goes over 100MB and YouTube wont let you upload. You would have to decrease the quality before uploading

  • yup i tried turning off neutral density with auto aperture T4R06 it shoots better on low light situation

  • just got my vpc hd2ex w/ hdmi cable :) and i have to say this is a cool camcorder.this is just perfect for my hdtv which has native resolution of 720p thanks 4 the review charbax

  • nice cam, ur vid took a lot of work, but u should have thought of what u were gunna say before shooting.

  • @charbax - i tried it on manual exposure and it did the trick!

  • @charbax- on techvideoblog, what kind of setting did you use? i mean vivid of soft vivid? hd shq 9mbps is way to go :)

  • I don't know if I used vivid or soft vivid. I was using manual shutter speed at 1/30 or 1/60, it's the Samsung engineers who helped me figure out that manual setting to prevent it from performing too bad in low light situations like in my first videos with it.

  • can you post video samples of that camera?

  • Maybe I can post some samples, but you can see the nearly full quality 3.5mbit/s DivX encodes at techvideoblog dot com.

  • 16 gb sdhc class 6 card is available in the market now. do you know if there's gonna be issue using it on a hd2 charbax? i saw a patriot card for about $160

  • I don't know. But I think all SDHC compatible SD card slots would support up to 32GB. But I am not sure about that. Do you know of SDHC SD card slots that are limited to 8GB?

  • true... even if the hd1000 has a better bitrate the hd2 has a more user friendly file and compare to the canon tx1 i would prefer this anyday :)

  • The HD1000 has higher bitrate, different less user friendly but possibly better file compression, but especially I think that the HD1000 might have better low light sensititivty, better auto-focus and overall better image quality, I think that might be an important choice even though Mpeg4 is easier to use then h264..

  • hey what mm size for the camera cause i want to get a fisheye for my camera its just like yours

  • I don't know about the mm size. I think Sanyo has some official lenses which use a special magnetic system to clip onto this camera. So I think you might have to get the official fisheye lense adaptor from Sanyo. In this review I used the wide-angle adaptor from Sanyo.

  • you are funny man :)

i just bought one yesterday, i really hope i can get it on my hands tomorrow :)

  • whats with his feminine hands
