  • Very nice model. Cool layout and trains. Thumbs up! :)

  • @megatwingo cheers

  • where did you get all the figures from?

  • @nordenstation some are hornby and bachmann and the rest i got off ebay.

  • I think I am going to indulge in one of these when I have bought the new Hornby Class 67's and 60's that are announced in the 2012 range :).

  • @EWS60008 its a must have loco.yes i want the new hornby class 67 also.and the new class 92.i think its the 92.anyway that loco looks awsome.

  • yeah just love the detail

  • I ran it this morning and it was slowing down and speeding up. i opened the moulding which has motor in and it was smokey. Like you said, it is faulty. what should I do? Get repaired or send back? I only just got it!

  • I have been running it for 5 minutes today and i have smelt the part that covers the motor and its giving off a motory strong smell just a little. Is it okay because its new?

  • @intercity112255 it should be fine.just keep an eye open for smoke.if it does smoke then its faulty.

  • gobsmacked at the layout

  • @stephenj7841 thankyou.have you seen my last two or three videos as its changed slightly since this video.

  • I just got it for christmas, a nice, smooth runner. I put the moulded gray blocks on thee master and slave units but they seem loose when touched.,Is this right or do they need a few light slams every now and then?

  • @intercity112255 they should be tight when fitted right but they can be a pain to fit in the holes tho.other than that its a fantastic unit although i never use mine, (not sure why tho).

  • Does it actually clean the track?

  • @intercity112255 no it doesn't.be great if it did!

  • Looks great and bachmann have put a superb amount of visual detailing!!!

  • @poisonarrowfrog100 its a great loco.bachmann are miles ahead of the rest in my opinion.

  • great video .would look amazing with weathering

  • @89thunderchunky it is weathered now mate.check out my latest videos on my channel and you will see it.

  • Is it powered on both ends?

  • @intercity112255 no just one car is powered!

  • your layout has the same name as my road.

  • @Juniper458 funny that.its named after mine too.do you live in hertfordshire by any chance.

  • @bloodmarine77 no i live in norfolk

  • @Juniper458 oh right.i like norfolk.i went to bure valley railway last month.

    where in norfolk you from?

  • Totally unique item for the layout. Detail terrific, lots to break !! Only dissapointment is the buffers are fixed and non spring, buts thats a minor...

  • @mljones21 ive just commented on your video not realising you had commented on my video first.but yes they are very minor faults.

i have just weathered my mpv and it looks the part on my layout now.

  • Funny how you said you use a Dynamis, I ran mine in on DC then reset the loco number and with the Dynamis but I have three EZ controllers on my layout and it wouldn't perform, completely dead. Bachmann said it should so it went back to Hattons, presume its faulty. According to Bachmann it definately doesn't run with some Hornby DCC sytstems.

  • What DCC system do you use ? Did it run straight out of the box ?

  • @mljones21 i use the bachmann dynamis.and yes it run straight from the box after i fitted the chip.but i have heard a few other people wasnt so lucky!

have you got one and have you had any issues with it?

  • can you do a review on it ?

  • @toffie702 i will if ive got time as i have alot to do on the layout aswell as other videos!

  • It looks like I am going to have to go out and spend more money!!!

    Brilliant video...

    Sam..

  • @HillsideModelRailway yeah it looks like you will have to mate.its well worth the money.its packed with great detail.

  • nice to see this beast in action i always see them sleeping in the sidings lol nice camera views too keep em coming as they say cheers

  • @steveallen808909 thanks steveallen or davros whatever your name is.its a great loco and i recommend it.i will be post an update soon aswell as some major changes have happened on the tmd side of the layout.

  • excellent looks really well lovely detail

  • I like the model. What is it like on gradients? Or is there no inclines on your layout?

  • @EWS60008 no i dont have any inclines on the layout but its not that heavy so i would imagine it wouldnt have any issues on any inclines.

  • Windhoff looks brilliant

  • @REGWARNE12 its a very good machine.

  • if you dont mind, what is the music for the intro?

  • @themymysteryman101 im not to sure to be honest.i found it on windows live movie maker.if you look there you may find it.

  • nice new loco you have looks good

  • @SuperWin87 cheers mate.

  • im not sure ill get one its a possibility but i expected it to be a bit better really because all mine would be doing is sitting in a siding lets hope bachmann do an un moterised version so you can pull it behind a loco

  • @MrJezza31 you need to get it with the motor as you will want to run it on its own.its a too good a loco to have sitting on the sidelines.

  • @bloodmarine77 i doubt it would be ever running on my layout because it cant haul stuff and its very expensive ill wait till prices come down

  • Wonderful machine, i like it! , it is on my wisch list.

Thanks for this video presentation, perfect.

  • @BB67407 thanks for commenting on my video.and yes its one of the best bachmann have ever made.its a must mate, theres no contest.

  • Very nice...another thing on the "I want" list!

  • @bobtoo07 yep my want list is huge.but ive had my eye on this since they announced it and its that good that i bumped it right to the top of the list.get it you wont be dissapointed.

  • with the quality of your layout and the MPV it looks almost like the real thing a hint of willesden junction? ,superb mate

  • @1968concorde cheers mate.im trying real hard to make it look as real as possible.if i could get it to look like willesden junction id be more than happy!!!

  • Very very nice mate!!! Is it DCC fitted? Im going to have to wait a few weeks for this because as per the things i want most come out when i cant afford them!!! It happend with the Pretendolino as i was on holiday. Plus i start a new job tomorrow so thats an extra week before next pay day. Look forward to more footage from you in the meantime mate :)

  • @ApacheBravo cheers mate.sorry i dont know your name.and it came dcc ready so i had to fit a 21 pin decoder in it.and its the most simple one ive ever fitted.good luck with the new job and save your money quick as this loco is worth every penny.

  • @bloodmarine77 Im Jack by the way and its ok because I dont know yours either lol I plan on getting it in a weeks time after my next pay day, I cant wait!!! Hopefully the DCC fitted version will be released too. Ah you finally managed to get a 21 pin decoder, glad they are back in stock. Thanks, im two days in and the new job is going great, couldnt be better :)

  • @ApacheBravo hi jack im terry.i dont think the dcc fitted version will be out for a while.as for the 21 pin decoders they are not availabe until next year now but i have found somewhere that has around 30 of them and i got myself a couple.if you need any let me know and i will tell you where you can get them.

  • @bloodmarine77 Thats not good then, no DCC fitted model and no 21 pin chips!!! I guess I will just have to enjoy watching yours then lol Unless they sell online I wont be able to get them as im sure were at opposite ends of the country :)

  • @ApacheBravo well i live around the london area.and they do mail order so i can give you details if you need them.

  • @bloodmarine77 Yeah please if you dont mind mate, thanks :)

  • @ApacheBravo It is possible to fit a 21 - 8 pin converter then a normal 8 pin decoder - there is enough room inside.

  • @mattmaz2 Yeah I could always consider that I guess, cheers :)

  • Thats very nice, good idea about the weathering for it. Sometimes less is more.

  • @EverardJunction its brilliant mate.shame its out of your era tho.but i agree less is sometimes more.its ok to heavilt weather some of the older locos but theres some locos that you just dont want to ruin so i will be taking my time on this one with just abit of dirt here and there.

  • Mine is on order cant wait. Great video.

  • @f1renz i bet you cant wait, its fantastic mate.i cant wait to see it on your layout.

  • Great vid. Mine is coming in the mail soon i cannot wait.

  • @houndog1372 its a great loco mate and will look good on your layout.

  • @bloodmarine77 Thanks have u hered theres been a freight train fire

  • @houndog1372 no......where?

  • @bloodmarine77 on the wcml 90042 caught fire

  • @houndog1372 oh dear not good.what caused it do you know?

  • Superb looking model, bachmann have done a great job. Just needs some heavy weathering, (they're filthy!), and to be broken down and causing havoc in the middle of peak service, and it's just like the real thing :p

  • @azymitch bachmann have done a good job of it.i will be giving it a light weathering but i wont be making it very grimey like my other locos as i think it will be a shame to ruin all the great details on it!

  • @CentralTrains150 cheers mate.it is a lovely looking train full of superb detailing.

  • i got 1st 2nd and 3rd radius curves

  • @midlandspotters same here as you can see.but its not derailed as of yet.but its always better to run any loco on larger radius curves.

  • AWESOME I'LL HAVE TO GET ONE FOR MY LAYOUT SOMETIME

  • @TrainMadJames yes you must.

  • a nice addition to your collection, first class

  • @howarth004 thanks dave im very pleased with it.

  • whats it like on corners and is it worth the money

  • @midlandspotters very good on all radious curves.and i would say yes its worth it.it retails at around £150 in most places but i got it for £100.but its well worth having as it adds some more character to a layout and is differant to all other locos,

  • ive got to say bachmann are miles ahead in terms of new additions and quality as well as price.i think the mpv would look good on your layout aswell mate!

  • Great addition an unusual setup,i must admit i do like Bachmanns tackle.

  • bure valley station model rail shop in aylesham, norfolk.you have to get one its brilliant.

  • im thinking of getting one of these, where did you get yours, nice vid.
