Chill the fuck out. There's no need for this video to be taken down.

Although John Exner did use inkblots extensively, and came up with a scoring system, the Rorschach was created by, believe it or not Hermann Rorschach. The images that are genuine come from Rorschach himself.

Herman Rorschach died in 1922 and the images are PUBLIC DOMAIN.

So, yeah, I'm not an idiot, and nobody is going to sue me.

Public Domain or not, it is still a bad thing to post any official inkblots. The test relies on spontaneous responses to the stimuli, which can now be questioned if the therapist has reason to believe that the client has viewed them beforehand. The biggest issue is that the original blots have gone through vigorous research and are more reliable than any newer ones. To replace them would be setting the field back decades, but this may now have to happen because of videos like this.

Well I understand that concern, but this video is really not that big of a deal.

The official inkblots are available to anyone with access to the internet.

If you guys sincerely have a problem, I suggest starting with an attempt to get Wikipedia to take their images down, and then maybe somehow limiting google image searches to only show non-official inkblots.

Next have S.P.A.R.C. take theirs down. Then have all public libraries and bookstores censor any books with the images!

It's not that I am blaming this particular video, but it's the movement that this video is a part of. And there is a movement to try to get Wikipedia and other like sites to remove the pictures of the inkblots. I can't think of a book that would have them except for those that teach therapist how to administer the test, books not readily available to non-professionals.

1. A lone tower protected by 2 walls of rock as a war (the 2 splotches at the top rocks from a catapult) fighting a war.

2. A boar jumping onto a cliff face, which turns into a panther's head at the other end. Butterflies flying in between the cliffs and a lion fish swimming around. (wow this is alot compared to other's XD)
