  • THANK YOU!! I have been trying to figure out how to curl my hair for 3 days. Every time I do it I end up with awful kinks in it that make it look awful. Maybe it seems like a no-brainer to most people, but I had just about given up. I searched the internet for solutions but couldn't find any good information. The part in your video where you explain the kinks was a life saver. Thanks again!!

  • erica! i just bought this iron, but how come when i try curling my right side of hair, it turns out perfect, but if i try to curl the left side, theres clamp marks? pls answer :(!

  • Try the sebastian trilliant thermal protection spray, its professional and is a great thermal protection that will keep your hair healthly and plus it has shimmer-complex in it. =]

  • Comment removed

  • @kauaigurrl It really depends on what temperature your curling iron is set at (if your iron has the temperature setting dial).

  • @kauaigurrl Her hair doesn't look fried, what are you talking about.

  • @xsaisaix Well thats just my opinion, so if you dont like it then dont read it.

  • I use both the chi fusion and the 44 iron guard. Both are excellent. But def recommend the 44 iron for heat protection

  • u are cute (: thank u

  • Hey, just wanted to say that this is a really helpful video :) I suck at curling my hair, because it's really long and thick and I always "kinked" my hair when I tried. So, your instruction about that helped, haha - same with the way to do it when you have long hair (how you run out of room on the curling iron). I'm gonna try again in the morning - I'll hang on to this video!

  • I really doonn't get why I keep getting the clamp marks? Or the kinks, whichever you want to call them. Haha, it's making me so madd. But amazing tutorial:)

  • @yellowRibbonsx follow her directions exactly :)

  • Thank you very much this was really helpful

  • will this works with a curling irol that's thiner than yours??

  • Thankyou so much, this video was extremly helpful :)

  • Thank you so much - I have been looking everywhere to find out how to get my hair exactly like on your video :) Awesome. Thanx again!!

  • hi

what did you ask your hair stylist when you went to get the blonde in you hair? I love it

    please reply :)

  • You saved me! I'm going into my freshmen year of high school and I wanted to do some things with my hair since it's so plain and I had the curse of the kink at the end! Haha thanks so much that was so thorough I can't wait to have hair that is curled for school! Especially since I have long, thick, and wavy hair! ha

  • I use a product called "Earthly body Marrakesh oil with hemp and argon" I think you can find it on google if you search it up :) and you put it on when it's wet so you can protect your hair from the blow dryer :) Or you can use some heat protectant spray to blow dry when it's wet and then spray it on again, and then style it. I usually put on the oil as a "finishing" kind of thing because it adds shine, and it keeps your hair straight (if you're straightening) I don't think it works with curls.

  • This was great! Thank you so much. :)

  • just wanted to give you a heads up that when you were putting on the silk infusion ur causing split ends by moving your hair back and fourth on the ends! that causes split ends so i wouldnt do it if i was you.......

  • I love those curls that u got using the hit tools. I was originally going to get a 1 1/2 in but I like this size better. How much was ur hot tools curling iron? Does any1 know where I can getv1 rly cheap?!?!!

  • ur so pretty :)

  • I really enjoyed your video! I use hot tools as well to curl my hair.

I look forward to watching your other videos. You are so sweet :)

  • im definitely getting that curling iron!

  • Hey there, thanks for explaining the difference between rolling towards and away - I ALWAYS end up with that kink, and I had no idea why. Also - great tip for longer hair, starting to curl up higher. Thanks for the video!

  • wow awesome!! how many mm is your curling iron and what's brand is it?

  • I got a curler today. But I'm freakin scared to burn my ear XD

  • heyy nice video i just need the big curling iron i only have a one inch

  • CHI 44 Iron Gaurd is good for straitening your hair, but Got 2 B Gardian Angel is best for curling.!

  • u sound like janet jackson

  • Gorgeous(:

I wish you could do my hair!

  • you are really gorgeous!

    my names erica too!

    and im an asian too!

    andi have those curler too!

    :)

  • this is really good !!

  • You're beautiful, and your hair is gorgeous!!

  • OMG I have exactly the same products as you before I even watched this vid :D

  • Just wanted to say that the Silk Infusion will NOT protect your hair from the heat, it is NOT a heat protector, it's a serum to make your hair shiny and soft, CHI 44 Iron Guard is what protects your hair, so for all people who are using the Silk Infusion as a heat protector, it is not protecting your hair, basically useless.

  • It is true that Silk Infusion claims to give you healthy, soft, and strong hair. But the product also recommends using heat when styling with this product to infuse the proteins into your hair. Using this product with heat does have benefits.

  • @ericaleung13 nothin can infuse proteins back in ur hair. coz its already dead. its just a marketing strategy!

  • @ericaleung13 Heat just makes the product work better, or activates it if you will, it doesn't mean that it protects your hair from the heat and the damage that can occur.

  • thx for the tutorial! love ur hair! can u do a video where u explain how u got those blonde highlights in it?

  • You're very cute

  • This is brilliant x

  • nice tutorial!!!!!

but i think its best for you to have a straight hair han a curly hair...haha just sugesting!!!

  • im so trying this out soon! thanks so much, your hair looked beautiful<3 :)

  • thank you so much!! the vid helped a lot!!! :) :)

  • YOU ARE RELLY PRETTY ! :) what major did you do in school? (:

  • I did my hair like this for Christmas this year. It looked exactly like yours. I have the same cut and color. Even right down to the blond low lights. I am definitely purchasing this curling iron. I have a super old Revlon. This looks like it is super quick. My hair is a bit shorter so I am going to get the 1nch barrel.

  • You talk too much.

  • oh my goshh thank you so much! i love it. i was just about to give up haha.

    im subscribinggg :)

  • very pretty! do you still like your hot tools curling iron?

  • ;;

iLike That Way Of Doing iT Well Done ( Y )

  • ive been trying to get these curling iron im in the UK is 38 mm wide enough?

  • Hi 32mm is good try amazon they have babyliss pro ones othe brands in the uk only make crappy slim ones the 38mm just leaves big waves for that in the wind look.

  • so 32mm is better than 38mm.?

  • I've been looking for ages to find a good curling tong to use in the UK. Toni and guy do an okay one- it gets to 210 degrees but the 38mm (1 1/2 inch) can make curls that drop really quickly. I've ordered a gold curling tong by Wigo-like hot tools one- in a 1 1/4 inch size from the USA it gets just as hot as the hot tools one but if you order from the USA make sure it's a dual voltage one so you can use it over here with an adaptor. USA have different voltage to the UK.

  • go for a smaller curling iron, the larger curls are harder to hold. :)

  • Hiya, have you tried ordering from ebay? You can order from there and then use an adaptor plug to use it as normal :) hth

  • HI thats exactly what i did but most electrical products from the USA (unless they are dual voltage) will not allow the voltage to be altered. I have a dual voltage one now and that works fine but the hot tools ones won't work anywhere else but in the US. It's really dangerous to plug a non-dual voltage electrical product from the USA in a UK socket (with an adaptor)as usa voltage is 120 and uk is 240 so you could basically blow up the house or yourself :S

  • No way!!! There goes my plan to get it from America then! lol- oh well, off to Argos/Boots I go then. thanks for that, I always (rather naively) thought you could just use an adapter!

  • I know i was so gutted i bought a hot tools and the gold babyliss pro one!! You can still get one, i'm getting the gold Wigo dual voltage one which gets as hot as the hot tools one and i'm told it works better. Why can't we get really hot curling irons in the UK!??
