I must say my first play through of this game was pretty cool...but I thought the game ended too quickly. Well...I played it through again on "Nightmare" mode and must say this game is truly amazing in every way. Playing on a harder difficulty for me makes it a much funner game to play becaus it actually takes skill in many areas. This is now my all time favorite game and that is saying alot being that I have been an avid gamer since the playstaion 1.
I'm about 12 hours into this game on Hard difficulty and so far I thought the missions in the beginning of the game were great. After the first few it still feels like I am playing boring side missions just waiting for the game to take off again...only to find out that there is no main story. Anyway I'm on the xbox 360's second disc now so hopefully things pick up in the Subway world.

Some of the physics is crappy but it looks great considering it's primarily designed for crappyass consoles - should be a good game if they let Bethesda do the Fallout 3'esque massive scale and scope. Alright ID software is the first developer of the First Person Shooter Genre and this game should be a really great game because ID software is just basically make the very first of the FPS genre. Doom series. It's a good game. Just without Doom, Black Ops will never exist seriously.

I didn't really like Borderlands, the trailer for Brink was cool but then I saw some actual gameplay and I lost interest quickly. I'm glad there is a huge big ass mutant in rage. fallout NV didn't have a behemoth and that disappointed me. Now that there are scarier bigger monsters i think i will enjoy this game.

I HAVE BEEN WATCHING OTHER VIDEOS FOR THIS GAME AND I AM SAYING THIS GAME IS PRACTICALLY BORDERLANDS EXCEPT BASED ON POST APOCALYPSE EARTH (not Pandora) AND IT HAS SMOOTHER GAMEPLAY AND ANIMATIONS.
I think it looks a lot like Borderlands with everything but the storyline, the graphics being super shiny, and smoother motion. The characters, the "post-apocalypse/desert" landscape, the vehicles, the misuse of toilets, the psycotic mutants, the guns and ability options, the circled "A" looks like the upsidedown circled "V", the progression of the storyline, the hick towns, the "Authorities" mentioned in this video are similar to the crimson lancers in borderlands, etc, are almost the same.
@jojoegamer the circled A is actually an anarchist symbol which is in graffiti all over the world. There's most likely anarchy in a post-apocalyptic world so i'm not surprised id used it. Also, Rage was begun b4 borderlands
I'm not sure what the hype is about this game. In a lot of ways it looks a lot worse than Fallout to me. The animations don't seem very natural, and the textures are only average. I'd have to think that with those unimpressive visuals, that perhaps they bring more in the way of content than other Bethseda games. If this is true, then I'd gladly give it a chance. I don't mind trading a little in aesthetic appeal for content potential, it's all gotten a little superfluous.

What do they expect people to say about this when they watch this footage besides "this looks like pure shit"? First off, they should have known not to do business with Bethesda since they made Fallout 3 then repackaged it after that as the same exact game but called it Fallout New Vegas. Fallout games got real boring real fast. Doom is the all time greatest game ever (but Doom 3 blew dicks) but Rage looks like pure ass.

Its last me over 100 hours on one play through with and with different choices and options with every other play through. Although I agree with you saying fallout NV was just like Fallout 3, they're both great games. But I suppose we all have different opinions of games.

Alright ID software is the first developer of the First Person Shooter Genre and this game should be a really great game because ID software is just basically make the very first of the FPS genre. Doom series. It's a good game. Just without Doom, Black Ops will never exist seriously.

I didn't really like Borderlands, the trailer for Brink was cool but then I saw some actual gameplay and I lost interest quickly. However Rage does look promising, and it can't be that bad since it was from creators of Doom and Quake?

I'm glad there is a huge big ass mutant in rage. fallout NV didn't have a behemoth and that disappointed me. Now that there are scarier bigger monsters i think i will enjoy this game.

@Shketri being fair this game is compareable to borderlands. i dunno if youve played borderlands but its an amazing game, i wouldnt say its an offense to ID. a lot of the young gamers these days dont even know what id software is, so when they see two similar looking games they will compare. ID software is using a forumula that works, and want us to enjoy an awesome game. you sound "elitest." if you knew more about ID software you would understand they just want us to enjoy an awesome fun game.

I think it looks a lot like Borderlands with everything but the storyline, the graphics being super shiny, and smoother motion. The characters, the "post-apocalypse/desert" landscape, the vehicles, the misuse of toilets, the psycotic mutants, the guns and ability options, the circled "A" looks like the upsidedown circled "V", the progression of the storyline, the hick towns, the "Authorities" mentioned in this video are similar to the crimson lancers in borderlands, etc, are almost the same.

I'm not sure what the hype is about this game. In a lot of ways it looks a lot worse than Fallout to me. The animations don't seem very natural, and the textures are only average. I'd have to think that with those unimpressive visuals, that perhaps they bring more in the way of content than other Bethseda games. If this is true, then I'd gladly give it a chance. I don't mind trading a little in aesthetic appeal for content potential, it's all gotten a little superfluous.

@Chadgod perhaps your dumb ass did not notice the HUGE DRAW DISTANCES with DETAIL along with the absolutely insane use of SHADOWS and LIGHTING. You play a clip from New Vegas or something, then play this trailer, and then kill yourself from your stupidity and perhaps remember.. Bethesda did not develop this game, they having nothing creative to do it with. ID software did.. and has been working on it for 4!! years, before the Merger between ID and Bethesda. ID is still its own corp.
