  • what is your best advice for getting the sound (shockwave) to travel away from you at all times? in an overhead crack, cattlemans, tasmanian crack etc, the sound is directed away from me... but sometimes in the reverse cattlemans, and other cracks, the sound goes pretty much straight in my ear... I'd like to keep my hearing.

I've noticed the shockwave is almost doughnut shaped, and is generally formed around the but of the whip, but it's hard to control that every time. Thanks! Great vid!

  • at 0:30 he clearly added the cracking sounds in.

  • Love the sound of your Bullwhip cracking. You are one hot dude.

  • Cool routine, man! Who made your whip?

  • Rhett Kelley made this 10-ft paracord whip. It has a 13-ft reach, and is also black light capable. Another favorite of mine is a Mike Murphy 12-ft kangaroo with a 15-ft reach. I've used this one in several Cowtown Coliseum shows in Ft. Worth, Texas with great success. It also handles well, and is a real "boomer". Either whip will definitely get the crowd's attention.-LOU-

  • Oh, I've seen Rhett's whips before. Very nicely made. I trust it will serve you well for quite some time. Best of luck to you and your showbiz, mate.
