i feel like god made all religons same.. jews, muslims, christianity are all abrahmic religons. sikhism is not but we believe in the same things except we keep our hair and dont eat meat. same thing
Sikhis, are extremely anti- black magic, other faiths are silent in their condemnantion. Spiritual Power should be with the clergy. It is when evil people assist others in hurting theri perceived victims that it becomes black magic. May Sikhi Sangat, peaceful Godward moral people be empowered wioth the Holy Spirit...JJ.
Hi I'm a Sikh and I understand about not cutting hair, but if we were to stay the way God had made us, doesn't that mean we shouldn't cut our nails? This is something that has confused me for a while, please get back to me. Thank you.
there is a difference between hair and nail. hair can be washed but nails get dirt underneath. its part of life keeping your self well groomed! its commonsense, which god has given us to use!
Sikhs dont cut there hair, because god has designed us. He gave us hair for a reason. If we cut it we are going against gods will. Even though u might think its clean and hygienic its not. Because if u take care of ur self your and take care of ur hair ur are still clean. And an important thing You cant be clean from the out side. You have to be clean from your mind.
money cant buy faith, love for our Guru. I will give my life to Guru if He asked me to but not selling my loyalty to you with 5 grand. money is one of the evil 5. You lowly human. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh.
there may be only a few Manmukh that you saw. But wait until you see a Gurmukh. real Sikh neither drink, cut hair, and out of worldly desires. If you dont believe in Guruji and waheguru, why are u here 1st of all
if you really do paath with heart then donot count how many times you waana do....coz if you r in love with something you jus cannot count how many you wna express your love
Shri SATGURU Nanak dev ji was Nirankar who came in human form. Like I said before to realize the Fromless, you need the Form, you need a Satguru to bestow Brahm-Gyan. naanak sayvaa karahu har gur safal darsan kee fir laykhaa mangai na ko-ee.O Nanak, serve the Guru, the Lord Incarnate; the Blessed Vision of His Darshan is profitable, and in the end, you shall not be called to account.
All our ten gurus or prophets, whatever you may call them, were incarnations of God himself. They were the "Satgurus" or "the incarnation of God" of that age, we believe that Jesus, Mohammad, buddah, etc were Satgurus or incarnations of God during their time.
How can G-d incarnate into any human being. A humane being is limited by definition, and saying that G-d incarnates into people or rocks or anything else is rediculous because it puts a limitation on G-d who is infinite.
limitless means "without limit" so can GOD, not come in a form of a mere human.
this HOLY VERSE from the Shri Guru Granth Sahib says "He Himself is formless, and also formed; the One Lord is without attributes, and also with attributes. (Ang 250)" which means that this formless can come into form. And this form comes as a human, when unrighteousness prevails the universe.
Then that is contradiction. Look at both statements they are the opposite of eachother. Stop worshipping men and objects, start worshipping the One true G-d who has no body nor form.
You are absolutely right. But Can you please tell how we can realize this Formless God? Are there any modes in which we can realize this Formless God? Can You tell me How do you know this God is Formless? You must have gained this truth from somewhere, perhaps a holy book. And where did this work or truth come from that is now in the holy books?
To realize this Formless, you need a Satguru or a manifestation of God himself, who blesses us this God knowledge as previous Satgurus have including Jesus, Satguru Nanak to Satguru Gobind Singh, Krishna, Ram,etc. These Satgurus gave us this GOD knowledge so that we can indeed "start worshiping the One true G-d" Without Satguru, there is no realization of this One Formless. God Bless
God doesn't take birth, means God is eternal. He is here, He was here, and He Always will be here. God never took birth, because he was always here, and will always be here. God himself is Nirgun form(reference in Shri Guru Granth Sahib) and he incarnates himseld in Sarhun form, which is the Satguru. Guru Nank was not a normal Guru, but he was SATGURU of his time, and Avtar of Nirankar. God Bless
No it means God doesnt take birth - read the Mool Mantar. Guru Nanak was not God in human form since he was born like any human being and therfore to believe that you would have to say the mool mantar is false!!
My dear brother, you are not understanding the shabad. God doesn't take birth, means that God never was born, he already existed and will always exist. He doesn't go through human births as you stated because, because he is pre-existant. He is not born of a mother and father, God will always be.
A very good speech true gurbani is undefeat able. Sikhism is truly power every religion has respect and some of them even devotion for sikhism. My love for everyone
True some Hinuds do say that, and some muslims say that Guru Nanak waas a Sufi, If you look at Sikhism you will find that contrary to Hinduism we do not beleive in Idol worship, ritual penance, caste, numerous demi GOD's etc... Sikhism is a totally unique and distinct path, one which unlike any others allows the soul to merge with GOD
i was doin research on guru nanak dev ji. and accordin 2 some resources he was a muslim suffi. i saw the kalma in guru nanaks dev ji's jabba. Hmmm interesting.
The Muslims called him Qazi and the Hindus called him a brahmin, Guru Nanak is GOD in human form all claim him to be theres, and he is everyones. The Kalma in Guru jis jabba you refer to was given to Guru ji by the devoted muslims when Guru ji travelled to mecca.
That was great. I normally never go to the sikh temple cause I don't learn anything and can't understand what the guys are saying. This guy makes it clear. Thanks

I have a question..? (with all do respect for this Religion)
- Why are Sikh people not allowed to cut their hair?
I mean isnt it more clean, healthy and hygienic if you have less unnecessary hair.
